I made two test accounts: 1) knorkewikitest 2) knorkes wiki_test 2 Account 2 can only log into forum but not in wiki: "Login error You have not specified a valid user name." "danil_kalina" has the same problem (he wants to edit NOTA game page but can not log in) so it is maybe not just space but any special characters. If it can not be fixed, disallow registering such names? Or add a warning to register page.
