Me and some guys did an experiment to try and determine if this is viable. Had to lower the effect to a very low level for the egg not to explode. After several (lik 6-7) minutes the egg was sort of half-cooked, kind of gooey, you could say and probably barely eatable judging by the look (we didn't try it). In conclusion it's possible but not really a recommended approach.

Acually you CAN boil an egg in a micro wave if you poke a hole in the top (with a tooth pick or something) allowing the air to expand.

Or so i've heard. :wink:

A friend's grandpa (a physicist :>) tried it once. He put a ceramic cup on top of the egg, just in case.

The microwave still has dents.
