Supreme Commander style mod

I don't mean to make a Supreme Commander clone, but to tweak the game play to it a new feel.
Example Bigger maps, better transports, slightly cheaper units to allow you to build more, icons when zoomed out, and other stuff like that.

We don't need an exact SupCom mod. Also most of the things you mention isn't much of a real suggestion.
Bigger maps? Spring haas bigger maps than SupCom, if you want them to look bigger play some downscaled mod because SupCom's units are just tiny.
Better transports? Sorry, we got the best we can do with Spring, if we could tdo better ones you'd see all forms of transports immediately.
Cheaper units??? Compared to what? I can tell you CvC outspams SupCom every day of the week and twice on saturdays.
Icons when zoomed out? Um, Spring already supports that.

SuckCom can try imitate spring not the other way around. If you like building gigantic overly large f*cktardedly huge units, that rape everything in 5 secounds no matter what the **** it is:

Probably even better then supcom if you like that kind of stuff from what I can tell from these pics. Make sure you play it on speed metal too for good measure.
More seriously, as KDR nicely put it, spring alredy has almost all the cool "new" features in suckcum, except the massive lag.

supcoms units/balance was probably one of the bad points about it

what happens when a map finishes loading is pretty crappy too

I wish they'd hurry up with the modding tools so I can actually attempt to make some parts of the game actually balenced.

Am the only one here who thinks SupCom is lodes of fun and awsome? Sure it runs bad, but it's a lot of fun.

If we wanted a crappy mod, we would all play TPW, BloX, or The Blue Tanks. HAHAHAHAHAHAHA
I was going to buy Supreme Commander, but when I heard that you need to play in full zoom with little dots, I decided not to buy it.

i personaly think supcom isnt that bad but not near as good as spring but i wouldnt mind a similer mod thoe.

Draco, don't put yourself down..
You're trying your best and if its the best you can do, its the best you've ever made...
Understand, be proud of your work.
I know I am of mine, and I haven't actually even gotten my mod to be complete stand alone yet, but I am getting units and scripts and everything set up, and I think its gunna be decently like what I wanted when I first started modding (except for the fact taht I am puttin off my first two mods, they have way too much complicated stuff, while the one I am workin on now is simple).

which is like, the most important thing about an RTS, beside the interface (which took up like 97% of my screen)

I bet half of you have not even played SupCom
If you like spring you should love SupCom

I was number 2 in the world at supcom for like a fortnight (and #1 for about 20mins)
I really hated the game as well pretty much the whole time

I am pritty sure a lot of people played supcom, and if they would love it is up to them.
Actually, there are a few things from supcom I would like to see in Spring.
Mostly moveable waypoints and the transport system.
As for a supcom mod. meaning the content in spring. I don't see why. I personally like the content from BA/AA better. I find the supcom content reather... dull. (though the models do look nice

)

Thats what I mean, I dont want a Supcom mod for spring.
I just think some of the ideas for supcom are cool, and spring a benefit from it.

The ideas you mention have either been implemented already long ago or just wouldn't make sense (faster unit production? That's a balance issue).
