new map called Asteroid-P23845-V2 ...

Hi ALL ,


A new year .. an new things to do ... :-) ..... So, I spent some time
on making a new map. This map has NO METAL deposits .. ... You will need
to use metal makers. The map size is 16x16 with 8 starting postions. Here
are some screenies...

maybe you should make the tidal strength really high so that people will want to control the little lake in the middle and there will be a reason to go fighting. just a thought...

good idea about the tidal strength, giving a reward for a high risk territory

i'd also make wind really high, just because economy is soooooo fucking slow on no metal maps, but then again i'm probably not the person to ask for advice on no metal maps, since i'd suggest putting metal in it.

Tidel strength increase .... and increase wind speed ...


So, what should be the tidal strenght ... 75 too much

an the wind speed around 100-180 mph ... or more ..

that's probably ok for tidals, but that's WAY too much for wind.

i'd say 10 - 40

AA/BA/all TA based mods right now won't let a wind generator produce more than 25 e.

i'd say go for really unstable wind something like 5-30 or there will be no reason to get the tidals, and make the tidals really high 75ish sounds good although it could be too much, only after some play testing you will know.

The first decent looking genblood map and its a GF style metalmap with no normal version. Please consider making a normal version with a metalmap.

My 2 cents:

Nuke the water and crank up the wind speed so it is more of a desolate wasteland instead. One devoid of resources, plant life, well as a matter of fact devoid of life period (except for the few ├óÔé¼┼ôcracked├óÔé¼┬Ø territorial warlords fighting over mounds of rock and sand).

And maybe a few high quality wreckage features to help "enhance" the desolateness.

huh? - if i want to play greefeilds i can play greenfeilds. there's no difference between this map and greenfeilds now. i liked the tidal strength.
BTW: better change the file description - there's no evaporating pool of water now...
