Just joking with you. And 3 letters ain't even much. I've seen one of about 6 letters that i have no idea what it means.
For your information:
OTA: Original Total Annihilation (often refered also as the OTA units set)
XTA: A units set for the OTA
Those are writen alot and it saves precious writing and reading time to write them like that...

Why are you complaining? You're keeping it alive yourself. Sending a private message to a moderator would be better.
(I personally have nothing against resurrecting threads, lots against acronyms though, but if you want to be involved in any gaming community, learn them, now.)
