AA 2.21 "E" Variant Development Status [EYE CANDY!

Ok, so it's been a few weeks since we've posted any new information on the AA variant in development AA "Extended". In light of Caydr's release of 2.21, I've just begun work on it again and I hope that he can refrain from making any drastic changes while overkill and I try to get a basic framework of units laid out here. So far, I've added a total of 17 new units, including 6 new advanced hovercraft for ARM, with more to come for both ARM and CORE. As it stands, hovercraft will basically become the second most powerful units in the game [second to ships, excluding super weapons/mechs]. Level 2 hovercraft are humongous, with a new movement class added for some hovertanks that have a 5x5 footprint. Logically, these units will be expensive and a Hovercraft start will be difficult, but well worth it in the long run. Anyways, stay tuned for more info and a possible alpha release sometime in the future by me when I have the hovercraft trees for CORE and ARM done. Overkill says hes busy working on porting lvl1 units right now, though I have no further specific details.
UPDATE: COME GET SOME CANDY FOR YOUR EYES!

That would be the current idea. Also, you won't enjoy this on speedmetal as you can't send hordes of huge ass hovercraft over the narrow ramps

. And believe me, these things aren't as strong as they appear, specially if they get nerfed after some more playtesting.

They're going to be big balloons with krog-faces painted on them.

I have a good idea for a unit. It's a building called the NIWI complex. It costs the same as 20 krogoths to build, but once you build it, it launches stealth (non-interceptable) nukes at a rate of 1 per second, from some sort of gattling missile rail. I think this is really needed for SPeedmetal games, cos my Krogoths always get paralysed by stupid drones before i can get them into the enemy's base

Honestly guys, these things aren't aren't Krogoths disguised as tanks and put on hoverpads.

I mean sure they have a 5x5 footprint, but that doesn't mean a swarm of Zippers can't kill the big ass hovertank in pic one by surrounding it either

You guys are such party poopers sometimes
This isnt a SERIOUS mod, me mateys; its a fun goof-off and screw around mod!
TAUCP was good for messing around between homework sets occasinoally, f.ex
- As long as things go BOOM in an awesome and big way in this E variant, ill play it - just dont expect me to play it seriously/competitively, or even frequently

But is a big boom mod really fun, or is it just there?

weren't u the one who advocated the big boom game called Defcon

That was about game play, not insane overly powered units. Defcon is a game of alliances, betrayals and stabbing people in the back. Hell its 'big boom' is nothing more then a 'nothing but bass' sound effect and a white blob. Not exactly a 'eye candy' game. Its all about game play with Defcon, game play and the simple style of vector graphics.
Not exactly the same thing...

If you guys play this variant thinking the Hovercraft are units that will make everything else go boom, be in for a nasty suprise when those "puny little" vehicles stomp your 5x5 tanks

In other words, don't think any of these hovertanks can alone take on a group of bulldogs or goliaths unassisted, just as you wouldn't send a lone goliath in against a big herd of Zippers.
