we had a massive amount of interest and learnt alot from the tournament, we will know what to do and what not to do next time

at its peak we had 31 players interested and active in the league channel, this we think is an achievement. see the above link for the tournament results,

We will be making available replays for future tournaments aswell as ladder matches (when its done)

a big thank you to everyone who took part and a big boooo to the people who didn't turn up but thanks for the people who stepped in to take their place :D

we will improve the software to acomidate for this in the future

let me stress that this was a test tourney and we think it went well under the circumstances :D

and a big thanks to duncs, who insisted i didnt mention him but hosted the last 3 matches so alots of specs could watch

(the website is still under construction so dont moan that stuff doesent work )

If the replays aren't being officially posted somewhere, I could upload the two games I played in and the two I speced (one semi final and the final) to my server.

people can do what they want with the replays, next tourney the site will allow for upload.

it is actualy random believe it or not! we stick the names in and it randomizes the first round :D

If it is random, I may actually compete!

but next time use seed mode for start brackets, this way u can seperate favourites at start(in this case rany and day etc).

Can we have a concrete time for when its going to start next week? I was hoping it'd get started a little earlier than it did.

Upload a few of the demos guys!. I'd love to see more high level play. Particularly a few of the rANDY games.

How about the winner of the tournament getting a little cup symbol beside their name? You could have crowns for the KoAA and KoEE titles as well. :)

I know some player don't want their demos available becase other players will copy their strats, but I think replays allow the community to get more involved in the tournament and IMO watching top-level play is one of the best parts about an RTS.

I'd like to see those replays, especially the ones involving PRO_rANDY...
