Idea for making AA better.

Make lv1 unit corpses non blocking. For example check out a game of EE. It's a very good practice to use.

that's a nifty idea - but why didn't you post it in the main thread? :P

Pretty much any L2 assault unit already runs over them, and I believe HLTs do enough damage that they don't leave wreckage behind.

some lvl 1 already has this. (Ak, flea peewee?)
It will be silly for anything larger.

Now I know the peewee has a corpse, and i'm almost certain it blocks units and weapons. Maybe the flea has a corpse, but it's low health means that the corpse gets killed as well...

Nope, to avoid traffic jams. Hell I don't play AA so I don't really care whether caydr implements this, but it would be a smart thing to do.

I really don't give a crap though.

Quoted for hilarity.

It's funny how the TA crowd reacts to small change. OMGWTFNO!!!

LOL, you do realize this would jsut be for lv1 units right? If anything it would make that game a bit easier when you have massive lv1 battles.

Try EE. Did anyone even notice that lv1 wrecks don't block?

I like wrecks, especially big chunky blocking ones

It'd just be a shame to take away that dimension from a battleground.

Erm calm down? The worst anyone said is that htey like wrecks as they are, EE is completely diffrent to AA, why even compare them?

Why try to fix something that isnt broken?

QFE, I was thinking the same thing, although a bit less like BigSteve's comment, and a bit more like "I don't understand your point then"...

Like I said, don't really care. I jsut thought that the line "Traffic Jams are a feature!" was kinda funny.

so whats purpose of wreck when it's practically useless (units can pass via) ?

just nifty texture and some resources ? ...

i found it tactically very valid to kill first and last enemy unit in narrow valey and then got fun erasing rest blocked by wrecks

(btw this was and is valid tactic how destroy enemy convoy in war :) ...

The only problem I have with corpses is that you can't just shoot them. You can't even aim at them in FPS mode (which is what originally drew me into Spring)
