Virtual Table top

Post by Dirk Spurgeon »

Does anybody play using virtual table tops? Does anybody roleplay? Maybe we can put something together. A free tool I found is here http://dev.jessewarden.com/flex/dndtools/ Post your thoughts, unless they are "What a nerd" because if you are looking at this forum, you don't have much room to speak

To quote Ethan, "You've moved into the realm of super nerds, where you get beaten up and have your lunch money stolen by regular nerds."

Well, I can't really say that I'm proud of what I am, In fact I'm downright ashamed. If you are appropriately ashamed and don't want to post, you can email me at dirkspurgeon at gmail dot com

Sweet... I've been looking for a good virtual table tob tool to do a teamspeak DnD session I'm starting up with some friends... I'm starting with only people I know in real life... feels less dweebie.

Looks cool, but I prefer manual table top.
I would miss the physical reaction of the party when they fall into my trap.
Or notice in the way they are behaving if the session runs well or not.

I think the version that he has up there is good, all it needs to be perfect is whiteboard and audio. So is anybody a dm? I'm dming a game for two of my friends right now, but I prefer not to. I like this system much better, it's very simple and easy to use, not like openrpg or webrpg.

I always preferred arcanum myself, however I've never been hardcore about it. Used to just get together with a group once a week and have some good fun.

I like gaming because it makes you think in different ways than you would normally. But to me it's just clean fun, nothing more. Havn't done it in quite a while tho.
