Banned from lobby server

Game host was AFK, so since they removed the ring feature, I spammed the host with a lot of @@@@@. I then got autobanned....? Said to contact admin, but I cant very well do that if I'm banned.

If he was AFK, why bother to spam him?
If he doesn't resond to a single line of @'s then why should he after 42?
The reason the autoban funtion is made, it that the sever can be overflown by to many messages a second.
Contact an admin is mostly done by sending him a email or private msg on the forum. But posting it like this works too.
Ok, unban him now. I'm done with him

I thought the /ring feature was reintroduced but only for people within a game?

Only the host can ring people now.
Also a lot of the time, the little system tray pop up doesnt come up when I get a pm. Maybe only 10% of the time I get a pm that works...

Meaby people should also be able to /ring the host of the game they are in, if the host is idle.

I think my IP changed. Either that or it was cleared from the list automatically. I hope it changed, that means I can get on some BF2 servers I got banned from

Indeed. You have to be a complete idiot (or a cheater) to get yourself banned, atleast on an official server, clan servers are a different 'kettle of fish', of course.

No actually it was a freak accident.
I was on the deck of the USMC aircraft carrier, I was in a squad with my friend and he got in a blackhawk and it filled up and he left without me, so I fired
one shot into the tail of the helicopter, at the same time he plunged it into the water and all the teamkills went to me, and I was autobanned. Another BF2 bug....
