I'm not happy with the current system, interested in whether anyone else feels the same way
if ARM goes adv kbot though:
no step up in e, its cloakable fusions or solars >,<
moho mexes! lol??? u haven't got the e to support them
if ARM goes adv v
w00t light fusions! and they are mobile!...wait...whats that? penetrators SUCK -.- bulldogs are still useful, and merls too. BUT it EATS your factory time pumping those mobile fusions, so you are either behind in unit production or economy -.-
i could bear it if CORE didn't have such a smackdown on their adv kbots. i mean they get pyros (uber useful for everything) necros which get mohomexes, supportable by light fusions that the adv kbot con CAN build! they also can get sumos (eee!) dominators (still very useful) cans (best cannon fodder ever)...the list goes on ;.;
give ARM a chance at tech two. stop the adv kbot con being able to build light fusions!!! and put the damn penetrator back where it used to be, USEFUL! ;.;

lol i rarely play XTA, just been driven to it lately coz of 1.45's slowness ;.; (don't even suggest enhenced edition ~.~)

Yea, and if something should be done, should be done in the arm department. I say a mobile fusion k-bot. Litthe smaller, litthe faster, litthe less energy.

mob fusions > light fusions, thats why
krogoth it is not that issue! the issue is imbalance in the economy/unit production. for starters it eats adv vplant buildtime to build mobile fusion, whereas CORE can make them on the spot. but because mobile fusion can move i can deal with that. HOWEVER the issue is ARM cannot go adv kbots without a economy handicap (FARKs are useless without resources!) whereas CORE can tech regarding to circumstances.
I've ranted and railed this at WarC for ages now

surely u r at least familiar with my argument XD

I play arm all the time and the mobile fusion really doesn't matter that much. I usually windfarm or solar farm enough that I can skip it all together. I say suck it up and play arm better. or switch to core.

I am completely familiar with the argument, and i think that it is possible to solar/wind farm your way to cloakable fusion. In that game of yours you had maybe one con making solars, whereas you should have had at least 3-4 of them to support mohos (15 solars/moho). Since mob fusions are much superior to light ones, im all for leaving it the way it is. Maybe improving arm lvl2 kbots, since they seem unremarkable.

mavs cheaper maybe? sinpers no cloak but faster RoF? Fido's made useful? Zeus given a small speed buff? or more HP?

Fidos pwn mavs, just look at the range.
Fidos are not expensive, actually i think they are less expensive than zueses? just they have big buildtime.
Zueses more hp? faster? you dont use them right? zueses are fast and incredible strong, let alone weapon power. If that is not good enough, they are quite cheap.

Yes! And half of all values. (cept speed and health. And edit climbing abilty to a good standard.)
Oh, and could you make all Mobile fusions amfibius?

Well, I don't build light fusions, I think that they are a waste of valuble lvl 2 construction time that could be spent on something better.
So I really don't care if someone get's rid of them.

As I see it yes the two sides are different but I wouldnt say unbalanced. On some maps like Small Divide this and other things makes me prefer core but on other maps I prefer arm.
Arm adv kbot contains lots of usefull raiding/attack kbots while for core the only one fast enough to be a good raider is the pyro which loses out to different arm kbots in different roles.
So I would say the differences just add some interesting decisions to be made.
