How to run spring lobby?

I am going through this tutorial...

https://springrts.com/wiki/The_Complete ... pring_Game

I want to run the empty game project that is obtained from here...

http://springfiles.com/spring/games/empty-mod

On that page it gives you the instruction to...

Use the "Reload maps/games" option from the "Tools" menu in SpringLobby.

But I do not have anything installed called "SpringLobby".

I installed spring engine and all that was added to my start menu is "Test Spring". How do I launch spring lobby?

You don't need a lobby if all you want is to play alone or against a single AI opponent. It's only useful for more complicated match setups, and normally (especially in the early stages), just using the engine is enough.

I am not questioning what I do or do not need. I am just word for word following the links....

The second link says

"Use the "Reload maps/games" option from the "Tools" menu in SpringLobby."

Tutorial is ancient and not great.

However, getting on the lobby and asking stuff in #moddev is a useful tip. You might be better off grabbing some existing projects and having a dig around their juicy innards, https://springrts.com/wiki/Gamedev:PublicRepos can help you out there.

Also a good idea to just try out as many games as you can to see what Spring can do. Ludum Dare games would be a good start to see some more unusual games. Also, plug for MechCommander: Legacy and Spring: 1944. :P

btw if you just want a totally minimal game, that is the purpose of

If you are starting a new project I would reccomend grabbing 'B'.
