I put this here because lately there is a lot of discussion of compressing maps and compressing mods. so i think it's good to know how many out there still hav that dial-up connection. So mappers/modders can decide how far they want to compress there work which might lose some of the quality of the work.

Suckiest version of DSL. 56k, that is.
And it costs 30 buck a month! And i can't change to another company, that takes 10 for their slowest! >.<´
Edit: Oh, and for the record, 10 megabyte more on a map is only a small annoyance for me... Specaly if the maps go awesome. But more then 10 is a litthe high strung...

I'm in the same position, it's just annoying that 2mb would cost the same.

Indeed, some people are already enjoying 2mb/256k for the same price we are paying.

3 mbit/512 kbit DSL, but due to distance I only connect at anywhere between 2.3 and 2.5 mbit. I usually do get most of the upload speed though.
Bastards at Verizon are deploying fiber optics in fucking Fort Wayne before Indianapolis, even though it's completely populated by zombies. I want that 15 mbit which is the same price as this 3 mbit :[
