Spring RTS Engine

Ive downloaded some widgets and put them in the lua folder but i cant find the option in springlobby to enable them.

ive looked at spring settings but can find nothing about enable lua widgets as the website gude said to do any help?

f11 in game to see if they are in your widgets list and you merely click them to enable/disable them.

thanks but already tried that the standard ones that come with BA or what ever game Im using are there but not the ones ive down loaded

Did you put them in the folder: ~/.spring/LuaUI/Widgets (meaning specifically in the subfolder "Widgets" of "LuaUI")?
If you're using a static binary (Linux) then you can try to put them in the "LuaUI/Widgets" of the static binary rather than in the standard spring dir in your home folder.
Just to exclude problems with the folder.

your right I didnt have it in the right folder.

that said I still cant get nestled build menus to work the widget has loaded and i have a box in game that says move menu but build menu looks the same and im not getting the categories the widget promised

Which widget is this?

also: infolog.txt would most probably be helpful (scan for errors when loading widgets etc...)

Where did you get it, would you by any chance have a link to it?

I ask, because I'd need to open the widget myself to give you any more info on why it might not be working. Also all kinds of different versions of widgets are floating around so it's hard to know which version you have; even if you give us the name and we find the widget ourselves.

Edit: You can also get the infolog in springs root folder so it should be /Spring/infolog.txt.
It's automatically generated on each run.

It's probably not where you expect it to be: look in C:\Users\<User>\Documents\My Games\Spring if using windows, or in home/.spring/ if using linux.
