Let me guess you were spectating and minimized Spring for a while?

There is a known memory leak so it runs out of memory if the rendering is inactive.

No, full rendering, It is just i used higher graphics than usual but that is weird. Before I had not pb with 2hours ffa game, now 20min and I run out of memory.

I used x32 XP so I am limited to 3go. Plus my video card has 1Go of RAM and I heard the video memory was addressed using the RAM, so i virtually go down to 2GO memory available.

Still weird since I don't understand why the memory will rise so much with higher graphics settings

GF 560 Ti sounds like a "real" graphics card to me, and those never share memory with the system.

But it could be a memory leak in your graphics driver. You can keep an eye on "Memory Usage" and "Virtual Memory Size" for the spring process in task manager (via View -> Select Columns). If these values seem reasonable and it runs out of memory anyway, you probably have a leak in the driver.

OK, I will try that. For the recoard, going from all high to all medium settings solved the problem (I could spec the ffa till the end 1 hour) while it crashed at 20 min before
