This equals to "topic locked" because of what?

I thought it was an civil, informative discussion going on about the topic, so why is it closed down?

At least moderation decisions like locking a civil discussion topic should be explained...?

I guess its sort of a preemptive strike doctrine, triggered by certain people showing up, certain topics beeing touched, and the tightness of moderator underpants on some certain day.

It was fine for the first two pages, but as Picasso said, preemptive strike seeing how page three was going. You're welcome to start a new one.

So what exactly are you pre-empting? What's the horrible thing that could've happened, that was absolutely necessary to prevent from ever leaving someone's keyboard?
