set snd_volmusic no longer works in 83.

My music widget uses this to set music volume. Either the set snd_volmusic command has been broken or the command has changed.
where to get this widget? how to reproduce?My music widget
in the latest gundam version (revision 746) the music / master volume control works fine here with spring 83.0...
