When will spring 0.83 be available to linux
I am specially interested in seeing it in the
ppa:spring/ppa (ubuntu).

If you are impatient, here is the source:

Ubuntu repositories will probably be ready the time it goes live on server though.

correct one is here:

GitHub tarball will have wrong version name!
Use Sourceforge tarball when compiling from source!!!

Version 83.0 recently hit the Debian experimental repository. Go Debian maintainers!
