Cheddar, mainly cause its the only type I've really tried. And fruit cheese. But I dont know if that counts as real cheese.

While a mature chedder is fine, I personly prefer Double Gloster. Now thats a dam nice cheese. Its liek a cross between red lester and chedder, but with some of teh plastic quality of edam.. Speeking of which Edam is dam nice to.
Also, stilton with lemon rind in it is nice...

A nice and simple Dutch Gouda can taste mighty good.
I also like Camember, Chaumes, and occasionally some brie.
Oh, and some Belgian "Abdijkaas", goes perfectly with Belgian Trappist beer. (Did you know
"Westvleteren" was elected the best beer in the world this year?)

Pepper Jack is number one.
Vache Qui Rit soft cheese for eating with crackers.
That stuff that comes in Red wax is number three.

Gouda with cumin seeds is probably my favourite, but I'm still very fond of Cheddar and Lancashire. Then a Brie and hot bacon roll is pretty special too.

Oh good! You did it!
Now, I function under the blissful assumption that philadelphia cream cheese is fully in the cheese family, and place it at the top of my list. Followed by chedder, whichb I eat fistfuls of whenever no-one is looking.
