SpringLobby fails
AFLobby is on a page that lost every archive
TASClient is not used
Test Spring dont give me every game option
Spring Downloader lobby doesnt convinces me

I abandoned AFLobby, please link me to these pages you speak of so I can correct things!

TASClient is awesome... and SpringLobby works for nearly everyone.

EDIT: I downloaded TASClient and the archive was in 7z. I ordered WinZip to open it, but it cant FIXED

It says its mothballed in the very first sentence of the project page, and the blog post announcing it is the first entry in the related blog posts section at the bottom. I've edited it anyway to make it even more obvious

Firstly it is used, and secondly, whether something is used or not doesn't have any direct relation to whether it's any good or not.

In comparison to all other RTS games, Spring is hardly played, but that doesn't mean it's the worst RTS game there is, in fact, I would say it is the best.

I've been using TAS Client for years and I still lubs it greatly.

Also, you forgot QTLobby.

Yup, I've been fiddling with Spring since I started playing it and I still tweak bits and bobs every now and then. Once you get to know everything and how it all works you can seriously customize it and suit it to your needs. Especially if you're a programmer.

I am also confused.. spring lobby and tasclient both do the job, why the fuck are you asking for more lobbies?!

because AF needs to make battlehub because aflobby was the best. He is being lazy and is not fulfulling his commitment to the spring community.

He puts himself in the position of an imaginary noob, for which the lobbies are too complex stuff, and playing with them is different then it works for other games -> bad.
Even after seeing that obviously the game is meant to be played through lobbies, as the in-game menu of spring.exe is way too limited (Wolf came to this conclusion by himself), and knowing that the options he misses there, are available in the lobbies, he insists on using spring.exe ("Test Spring" in win Start menu == spring.exe).
To me, this stinks like viral-feature-requesting, though that kind of does not make sense, as Aus is working on support for exactly this already (or already finished most of it?), as is visible to everyone that follows engine git commits, and also is talked about in one or two threads somewhere.

So, what is wrong with SpringLobby? If you explain what is wrong it might be addressed.
