Spring RTS Engine

First off, I don't know quite where to put this so I'm dropping it here.
Second, this is my first post!

Basically I want to do a youtube commentary series of Spring games, but I'm having trouble finding good enough games to commentate on. I could go though the list here, but because of the shear number of replays on that site it would take some doing.

To sum up, if you have a cool epic game that you wouldn't mind me commentating on, please post a link!

Slightly off topic: Can you install more codecs into the internal Spring video recorder, or do I need to re-compress my videos externally?

a good rule of thumb is probably that the most downloaded/most commented replays are the most epic, try clicking the dl button to get the most downloaded.

also most of the ones i upload are epic
epic because i win.

edit: you're probably going to have to dl some old versions of the engine to see older replays that are still epic, in the "Filter by version" button on the replays site you have links to .exe's of the older versions.

And this is the problem, I would rather only download replays that I know in advance are going to be good just for this reason.

Thanks! I'm working on recording the one replay so far submitted to me.
Need to get a better codec before I can record though...

But what kind of game do you want to commentate? Whats your audience, people from outside this community, beginning players, or frequent spring players? What games do you know how to play?
Do you prefer people playing well or seeing funny mistakes or big explosions.

Ye, also, when you commentate, make sure it's the first time you're watching the video...
I really like the idea tho, I'd make sure to subscribe to your channel if you pull something up like that and it's decent. Gonna look into it later and see if I can find any good replays.

That depends on what kind of commentary youre making. If making a strategical analysis you should watch it beforehand.

Most of the replays on that site are self-indulgent wankery.

For the best games you probably want to look at ladder/tourney games.
