Spring RTS Engine

Should probably delete http://springrts.com/phpbb/viewtopic.php?f=16&t=22104 topic as it belongs in help/bugs.


I just installed spring and it won't connect to the server. It won't check for updates either so I'm thinking the problem is probably on my end.

I have disabled windows firewall so that should not be the problem.

I tried installing the alternate lobby as well and that would not work either. I tried registering a new account and it won't let me.

It downloads maps using the spring downloader perfectly fine.

I made sure I am connecting to main server.

Windows 7 64 bit.

It sucks that you can't connect to the server, but this is a joyous occasion... you got SD up and running without a hitch before you even started playing spring. Yay! I'll have to bookmark this post.

Hope someone can figure out why you can't connect.

but springdownloader isn't really that helpful for me if i can't connect to the server (unless i want to play with myself). i'd rather the lobby worked and downloader not work as manually downloading everything from fileuniverse isn't that much of a hassle

making a second thread is stupid especialy when you get answers on the first !

Yeah i got same problem, new computer Windows 7 64 bit doesnt connect to server.. as soon as i turn it on.. it works fine down stairs but my comp downstairs has driver problems..
