TASpring Crash - FF Mod - Core Bomber - Undin

Proved out a crash in the mod to when a core bomber dies/explodes.

I looked at the FBI file, and it looks ok and comparable to the ARM bomber.

Any ideas of what I should be looking for to fix here?

Knowing less than you about this stuff... First thing I would look for is a missing texture. (referenced in the appropriate heap/wreckage 3do)

And there ends my understanding of these things ;)

Nah, Spring doesn't crash on missing textures in my experience... just bitches...

Yeah think it was just the bombers area of effect killed a building that did not have the heap / dead settings set right.

Are you sure? Could it be that your experience is missing textures which are not used in spring? I can tell you that the game crashes if you load a wreckage with a missing texture- can't imagine why it would be any different for active units.

I just tested it by removing textures for a unit I made 20 minutes ago and loading spring. It complains the textures are missing, then displays the ENTIRE texture sheet on the faces, but it does NOT crash.

There are two things that could possibly cause Spring to crash. One is a severe script error (like an infinite loop), other is a missing model. Probably the cause is a missing corpse model for the Undine, or whatever it hit when it fell.
