New fog rendering enabled by map SMD file?

Would be cool to have that type of fog to be enabled in any map by SMD file variable, since we already have fog settings; this would just be which type of fog setting. Or maybe you could add both fogs too.
Also it should be enablable/disablable by springsettings.exe. so i dont have to render it if i want more FPS, since it is quite GPU sensitive i guess.

The two fogs have very different looking effects, and are used for different purposes by mappers. The shader type fog can simply be disabled by turning luashaders off. All recent gpus hardly see a performance hit from it.

yeah but if i want to play with shitty computer, i would like to turn off all special effects. while also do that effect without lua since its one basic map environment effect and should not need any advanced scripting, just like the current fog effect. btw is it possible to turn the default fog off in springsettings? ive noticed it lowers FPS a lot on bad cards...
"all recent GPU's" i bought a recent GPU lately and yeah i could play spring with it decently, but still default fog effect made clear FPS drop for me. (it was 30$ gfx card, fucking good compared to price, steady 30-60fps on spring)

does it qualify as a lua shader? can't you turn those off in settings...?
