you pretty much nailed it. Its a tactics game where you have to dgun the other commanders.

Thats part of the lolz of the jumpjet gadget. Dont blame me i didnt write it.

I use the jumpjet gadget and do not have units go through the terrain.

just so you know, this is now a viral video. 50% of the spring userbase have seen it now. Look in #main and you see people shouting SYSTEM IS DOWN SYSTEM IS DOWN DANCING ROBOTS!!!!!

so the only difference between this and com shooter is the hopping?
Then I rather go for the com shooter

dunno this mod doesnt work so well in fps. However, i want to make it work in fps similar to that little fps mod someone made (i think regret) so you press a button to jump. that with the aoe widget so you know where you are shooting and fps will be viable too.

The other difference is upgrades.

The music is pretty awesome. If you add some additional ridiculous game elements, people might actually play this mod for laughs.
