We are pleased to announce QtLobby v1.0alpha!
Download it here
It is a new tas lobby which is under rapid development right now, written in C++ and using Qt class library. ItÔÇÖs crossplatform and is known to run on different flavours of Windows, Linux and Macs.
We are trying to make it user friendly, fast and bug free. We highly appreciate your help in testing and feedback (bug reports, ideas, may be a patch or just your opinion)

It is in alpha stage, what means it lacks some features and has some annoying bugs, but itÔÇÖs ready for everyday multiplayer use.
In case you found a bug, please report it to
our tracker. If it was a crash, attach .RPT file (if it exists in qtlobby dir).
Join #qtlobby for disscussion or getting help.

Looks yummy. Thanks for using some of my ideas, I knew those mockups wouldn't be totally useless :D

.. how is the regular user on linux supposed to use this?
i went to your homepage, where is says to get the source through SVN, but for this you need a unsername nad password.. so i tried my google account, which did not work...
does one have to be registered with your project for this?
something anonymous could do would be good.

Use this command to anonymously check out the latest project source code:
# Non-members may check out a read-only working copy anonymously over HTTP.
svn checkout

The regular gentooer just have to use "emerge qtlobby". I know someone wanted to make *.deb packages too.

openSUSE 11.1 user can use the rpm package.
Which is not almost up to date due the frequency source code commits.
Also I would like to get clean tarballs for Linux users.

When I run it, it say unitsync.dll is not found or is not usable. I check the directory setting and it was correct, using 0.80.4
EDIT: Ok I got it working by providing a absolute reference to the files. But once I did that and hit reload maps/mods it locked up and I had to restart.
EDIT 2: You need an icon for locked running battles
EDIT 743: When you try to join a game and are already in one, it should say "do you want to leave your current game" instead of "cannot participate in multiple battles"
EDIT 999999999: The icon in the system tray is blank....
EDIT (OMG lets see how many i can do): Doesn't unready when starting game
BTW great lobby client so far, keep it up

All I can say is
This is the best lobby software for MacOSX yet.
Very stable (not a single crash in the 3+hrs I was online last night), easy to use interface.
Look out for a Mac OSX DMG of this soon :)
Also, do the creators mind if I bundle this with Spring for OSX? I have worked out what dylibs I need to include in the app bundle to make this very easy for people to install and run with no compiling knowledge!
