In fact, none of my replays work. Spaces or not, when I try to open them, nothing happens. Spring.exe doesn't even open at all.

If you give a link to a non-working one, we might even be able to test what the reason could be.

it works if you wait 1min
its calculating something weird without a window, and then pops up the window later and loads the game, and then starts replay...

But tbh, this really needs fixing.

How can we fix it if we can neither reproduce it (all replays work fine for me) nor have any useful information on when or why it won't work?

Well running the replays via TAS Client states that we're using the wrong version. Maybe, it's the users of TAS Client who are running the old unitsync.dll from 0.78 that's causing it.
If all the people that are having this problem are using TAS Client then it's the old 0.78 Unitsync.dll files fault.

what problem? the 1 min delay?
i open replays by moving the replay file onto the spring.exe, and it works... but takes 1 min until it opens the window, which is a bug i could say? didnt behave like that in older versions...

also when i click on replays it says "list index out of bounds" it totaly spams that error message like crazy and i often have to end task spring. this needs fixing and sometimes replays just dont open but they work when i upload them then download them then watch

what, you say uploading them fixes the replays? o_O
just do what i said, move the replay file on the spring.exe and then just wait ~1min and then the replay starts

During the 1 minute delay:
- does spring.exe get listed in the process list?
- does an infolog get written on startup? or only on "real" start?

1) yes, and it did process something, but didnt open window until 1min...
2) no, doesnt write anything when i open any replay, not even when the replay starts for me...
i also noticed now that it doesnt delay anymore o.O
could it be something to do with router? my other computer isnt on now... only thing that changed for me...
