in the installer it says "TASClient is now unmaintained and partially outdated".

Why are there still new versions (like the newest "0.48beta")? Or isn't it unmaintained and outdated?

It has been unmaintained for a while but never outdated.

It was partially outdated, because it didn't support AIs at all for a short timespan.

Could I get the link to the latest version plz? The autoupdater on mine doesn't work.

Latest beta is ok

i keep getting a weird error while trying to install those 2 rars to my spring directory, keeps telling me the python file and another file cant be found while copying them over...

eta-

nevermind, had to manually copy over the Vars folder and the Python folder for no apparent reason, just trying to unrar it into the existing folders didnt work for some stupid reason.

Also,

this new beta still doesnt work on windows 7 just a warning.

just the beta ? initializing unitsync.dll freeze ? cause this freeze doesn't happen on every comp

Use 7zip... it knows how to deal with 7z files properly.

Because the installer is badly maintained and partially outdated. Satirik came back with new TASClient versions, but no one took the bother to edit the description in the installer.
