Spring RTS Engine

Rules-
You have a 4 day period from the posting of the save for you to take your turn , or you are skipped. You play for 1 year, then you are done till everyone else plays, its like 3rd grade all over again.

If we end up getting gigantor fort with immense amounts of shit to deal with possible exceptions.

We might or most likely will not revert on unfixable issues, like world floods and massive tantrum spirals. Feel free to steal ideas from places.

Ok, guys im starting it. Here is how its going, we are each naming a guy after ourselves, boat murdered style. just embarked on the map, its 8x9. We have some livestock, mostly giant beetles and sugar Beetles, but we have one emerald wasp. seeds fro all the plants we need early. a steel war axe and two copper picks. i spent the rest on barrels and wood. we are set up atm. i will post later after the first year.

If you create a fort half as awesome as you can storytell we are truelly fucked like boatmurdered.

Ive wanted to take part in a succession DF game for quite long time now, so i even registred here to sign up.
Can we get a subforum here or somewhere else though? If all the stories and the discussion are dumped in one thread, its gonna be hard to find and reead the stories.
Also, what is the time given to player to complete his turn? As i heard on #df its a week, but isnt it a little too long? I know that most people have a life and stuff, but meh, a week is still an overkill imho.

Then where the hell are the stories from the first 2 participants - you and lurker?

I was tired after having to restart a couple times in the initial setup, and passed the world to overkill so he could get started right away and not wait the half day for me to recover. This was apparently a poor plan.

Succession games mean that when it's your turn you spend all the time you can spare on it for the couple hours it takes, people! Relax before and after.

I'm trying to figure everything out for this but I'm just bloody miserable.

Watching the dorfs go from productive to catastrophe spiral should cheer you right up.

I'll try this. Been a year or 2 since I played df, but maybe I still have some touch left...

Hopefully I wont be too pissed off with people having too different build plans from mine.

DF is alot more fun with the orc mod. vanilla, one you get your posse legendary there isnt really much anything can do.
