Spring RTS Engine

Hello,

after my update from version 0.78.2 to the newest (0.79.0.2) TASClient doesnt work anymore. It will be abort at "initializing unitsync.dll". How can i use TASClient now?

Everybody else is having the same problem although I think there are a few who have managed to get it working, how, I don't know.

ANd why is now "SpingLobby" default lobby? I dont like it... TASClient ist more stable and much faster...

The creator of TAS Client threw a stroppy and decided he wasn't going to continue developing it anymore. Also, he left no way any body else could update it, make changes and continue developing it themselves so we were forced to switch to Spring Lobby.

Most players would rather use TAS Client other than any other lobby, but if it can't be shaped to support new releases and implement new features, it's not a whole lotta good to us.

And imo Spring Lobby suck i want TASClient Back !!!

Anyone can update tasclient. Sources are in spring subversion and there is some SDK to setup compiling too.

If you need to trigger tasclient self-update, i can arrange that.

ok i found how to fix it
instal old version 0.45
http://www.tasdownloads.com/download.ph ... client.zip
and than update to the newest 0.46
it should work :)

befor this all remember to clear your registry files
