... so it works with Spring 0.79 (or that 0.79 works with your mod

).
Because of the amount of mods available, we can not test all of them to the extend it should be done.
A snapshot of how the next version might look can be downloaded from
http://planetspring.free.fr/spring/inst ... 743cd9.exe, as well as any further versions.
Please report the bugs and regressions you find to the usual places.

The juggernaut weapon in BA sounds cool now
[ 0] Sound: WAV file sounds/launch.wav has data length 867918196 greater than actual data length 13245
[ 0] Sound: WAV file sounds/impact.wav has data length 867918196 greater than actual data length 13245
[ 0] Sound: WAV file sounds/rockhit.wav has data length 291939 greater than actual data length 19514
[ 0] Sound: WAV file sounds/packolau.wav has data length 806248820 greater than actual data length 12304
[ 0] Sound: WAV file sounds/packohit.wav has data length 327704948 greater than actual data length 5002
[ 0] Sound: WAV file sounds/TAWF114a.wav has data length 929718644 greater than actual data length 14188
What's the meaning of this then? I haven't tested yet but i'm hoping loading and resaving the sound in an editor will work..

Is there some kind of changelog already so when can check some specific functions / behaviour more deep?

Tested on 32-bit Vista, 64-bit Windows XP Professional.
1. TASClient hung in 32-bit Vista upon exit.
2. TASClient seems to take a lot longer to load the mod files upon join.
3. Tried both test servers. Was only able to log into test server 1.
4. Could not start a test game in TASClient. Both clients hung on "connecting to server".
5. Tried SpringLobby. SpringLobby crashes on Vista. On XP64, SpringLobby stops with an error message indicating that it cannot work with the version of Spring.
Tested SP (briefly)
No crash at this time. Haven't finished testing new sound stuff yet. All major features seem to be working. Will report more details when I've had time to QA more thoroughly.

Like already stated on other places (and also in installer) TASClient is broken for:
- singleplayer
- multiplayer hosting, when it involves bots
And won't get fixed due to abvious reasons.

What are these reasons?

While you were in kazahkstan looking for the toothfairy, satirik rage quitted and made tasclient autoupdate into a springlobby installer, and announced he wont eb maintaining tasclient anymore. Springlobby is the official lobby now

It isn't changed over until the installer doesn't include it IMO. It is still distributed with spring.

Ok, so all further tests will be with SpringLobby, when it doesn't crash immediately upon startup.

While you were in kazahkstan looking for the toothfairy, AF suspended BattleHub indefinitely for no adequately explainable reason.

You're radically free to work on one of the open source lobbies, rather than blaming AF for failing to give you moar free work.

This is your fault.

Could definitely use at least a changelog for the Lua interface so we know what to test for.

Is there an anticipated release date for .79? Are we talking a month or a few days?
Also is the changelog fully up to date? If not, I'll work on it a little assuming all the changes are on the Git repo log.
