hey,

i made some sounds for spring (liek laser, beam, rocket,...), this is the first try. my idea was, that i could generate some sounds, which will replace the original ta sounds. i think there are more talented people outthere, but ill make the first step :). so everybody could use that sounds for spring n stuff. i hope u could give some feedback, so i could improve them

These are OK for a first go. Next time, use more raw sources, mix stuff up a bit, put more detail in. Use more base, too- we're not playing a game from the 1990's, use the full range of modern speakers.

Also, make stuff that isn't just weapons- the hardest things are explosions and interesting greeble noises, imo.

Among other things, you might want to tackle a free library of OTA replacement sounds for Unit replies, since that's one major area that hasn't even been touched.

Pronounced the same, so its forgivable. :-)

Anyways, the explosions kind of need to be tailored to the kind of explosion it should be. No such thing as a generic explosion. You have gasoline (liek in teh mooviez!1!11), energy/plasma, igniting powders or fuels, fuel-air-bombs (i'd imagine those having a wave of pressure from the fuel being spread, then maybe a sizzling or something, then it rapidly builds into the explosion) and the list goes on and on and on.
