awesome job on the metal patches, some of the best i've seen.
i am going to host this map as well as your other most recent (sierra) to see how they play.

Kbots pass everywhere, is that intentional? Ill go playtest it.

Yes it is intentional. Its made with Wiced so i can send you the templates if you want ?

The map seems nice, but the blatant mirror is a bit of a shame - it's sort of like looking at a psychologist splatter sheet...

well after hosting it seems very very porcy, as porcy as dsd
i really like the kbot hills though, gives enough incentive to go kbots without denying usefulness of tanks

Sir.
A small suggestion.
Make a V2 and add another texture of a different color to the map.
Like maybe the middle section should be colored differently or maybe the top and bottom areas.
It will make the map look much more appealing and will make the heightmap be more pronounced.
Than it will diffinatly be a very popular map.
Just had a fun 3v3 on it.
Also maybe make the map have a bit bigger height difference.

So is this the thing ? Should i make more colorful texture ? And set the height so that kbots couldnt pass the hills ? I'd like to hear more opinions about this ?

IMO,yes add a few areas with a different texture and also add a shadow to the map's texture.
Make it gentle and make it so that the sun rays are coming from somewhere on the top or somewhere on the buttom.
That will break the map's symmetrical looks while still leaving the heightmap completely symmetrical in actuality.
Just make sure the smd shadows are coming from the same direction and are of the same length as the texture's shadows.
another small thing.
On that crater at the top of the map.
Instead of making a geo down there make X metal spots(3 maybe?).

I wanted to leave it "metal free" so that it could be possible to flank behind enemys back with kbots in early game stage...

Unfortunately you are one of the very few who likes sierra including me... It is just not rewarding to make such map which will not be played...

We play it in XTA, and I have played a couple of S44 games on it, its a really good map! :)

Yes,it is...please make more large maps with a lot of mexes in places that only kbots can reach.
