Well i bet most of you are not a fan of MMORPG's

But this game is amazing

At first glance i was a bit skeptical and thought it was merely a WoW Clone but its just a million times better in every aspect

The Good Stuff

PvP : Gives Experience Items and repeatable quests for gold and more experience which scales per level nicely so leveling up doesnt take to long. You can pvp from level 1 if you are underleveled in a pvp area you will gain a buff called bolster which increases your stats to around the same levels of other players (ofc you will be at a disadvantage missing skills/gear)

Leveling : = Quick fast and enjoyable the max rank (level) is 40 and can be achieved easily even playing casually

Variety : 10 classes per side from 6 different races with 4 more classes being added soon. Each class is different to each other and although some classes from each faction share similarities with there counter parts they are very different classes to play. Characters also have a unique look and feel even at low levels with trophy's and armour painting each character really looks different (unlike WoW)

RvR and guilds : the pvp is constant be it in battlegrounds or on the worldmap invading keeps with siege engines and stuff is awesome. Also being in a guild has many advantages, your guild also has a ranking system , the more powerful the guild the more stuff you unlock. For example you can unlock special guild unique buffs for the members of your guild which you can use when your guild standard bearer carries the guild banner (guild leaders appoint standard bearers within the guild you unlock the option for more the higher your guild level is) :] i am currently my guilds standard bearer as seen below:

Also visually it owns though you cant tell from the screen

it has also had the best MMO start in history with only 1 hotfix patch of 100kb in the first week and no down time so far on the EU servers. Servers are pretty packed atm and has more players than wow had at the start by far.

Imo if you want a PvP oriented MMO with alot of potential and good lore buy this (also good to play casually)

Cant wait till they flesh out all the PvE content :D

LIES, visually it sucks, same as Wow (better models but texture quality worse)
Servers are pretty packed atm and has more players than wow had at the start by far.

LOL satirik the textures are better i run it on max details and i can tell the difference between WoW and warhammer online

Warhammer online has way better textures

its like comparing OTA 3do texturing to Mr D model textures

3do are good at distances but bland and boring

s30 is just superior :P

everybody knows you're a fanboy, so they can read me to know the truth and btw i run it on max details with max anisotropic .... and it's just the same as wow, some things are nicer and some other are ugly ... the gameplay is not as good a wow one (im just 14 so i can't really tell but still), but the pvp looks great

Its WoW with some upgraded features.

And at 3:30 to patch and install, it already pissed me off.

Although the cultivation side looks cool, if I ever find a fucking trainer!

I'm getting it tomorrow when my pay comes in. I'm not much of a MMO player, with the only MMOs I've ever played being Guild Wars and maple story, but I'm really looking forward to this. Only bad thing I've heard about it so far is that the EU publisher (GOA) is a major fuck up.

The game is really good. Playing on an OpenRvR server (basically means PVP is possible everywhere) and it's great. There's a really nice mix of different PvP and PvE, and generally it's really good fun and varied. Been playing it for a week now and haven't felt like anything was a grind at all. Bored of quests? Do a PvP scenario, bored of that? Go take a keep in the RVR zone. Bored of that? Go do some public quests. Bored of that? Go to a different realm and meet new races.

Seriously, I am amazed how much I enjoy it, it seems to be a near-perfect blend of PvP and PvE. Getting attacked by some random high level player when you're doing a quest, and you think OMG I'm gonna die, then a load of allies turn up and the tables get turned and it's like OMG I love u guyzz!LOL! then we all hug and kiss and make babies.

Ive been playing since the open beta started, and i used to play DAoC before. The great thing about DAoC was the RVR (PvP) and kept me playing for 3 years on hte EU servers and when GoA cocked i went to the US servers for a while.

Although at first glance it looks similar to WoW in graphical style, its much much better. They've taken the fantastic PvP from DAoC and added to it enomously. I have a lvl 18 Bright wizard atm and its great fun. The client keeps crashing quite alot for me but i suspect that will get fixed in a patch.

Just another grinder.
I personnaly will only play an mmo seriously when something like darkfall comes out.
Something that is actually intelligent.
It might be darkfall(if they execute their plans well) might not be but the premise is excellent and its exactly what iv wanted of an mmo.
Whoever likes static dumb worlds with repetetive gameplay and boring mouse clicking can keep playing wow style games.
IMO wow styled games have peaked when WOW came out.
Time for an MMO for humans not for brainless droids on caffeine.
