Control lightning with lua

What if the lightning (sun) would be controlable with lua? this way the bloomshader woudnt suck on like 99% of all maps, and alot more thing (night and day widget +1, ect).

Requires an engine change- Trepan was working on that, but never committed it, then disappeared again...

Wait for the next Spring release. I think the functions already work with SVN, so you can start developing with those builds if necessary.
EDIT: Wait...the patch was never committed?

Well the lighting sucking on many maps is a problem with the mappers themselves. I've never really taken the time to write a guide on how to control the sun, and tbh I don't really feel inclined because I've provided many examples to work from and it's just "Meh" at this point.

I know, that's why I want this.
