Vector uv's

Is there any (preferable free way) to get vector uv's? (1px lines, 100% accurate) I'm getting really annoyed by the wings uvmaps.
or maybe psd paths, there is a psd path unwrapper for max, but maybe there is something like it for free, or as a wings plugin.

Why would you NEED vector based uvs. Even if you use them, with the way engines render models and textures it will not help you. You have to use a bit of bleed over otherwise you get "seams" where you have other parts of the texture bleeding over when the texture is miped.

They come in very handy for low resolution textures (256 and lower).

It is quite useful for lower-res textures, yes, where individual pixels matter alot.

But even with the vector paths, the seams will never be 100% accurate due to painting pixels, you'll still need to compensate for the pixels.

I know.

Would the psd path unwraper also work on the 'trail' version of max?

Who knows

Here's the plugin anyway. It needs RPManager to function properly (actually, only RPMdlx.dlx). To run the plugin I had to assign a key first, it's hidden somewhere in the hotkey list. I'd delete the UV coords of all duplicates and mirrored halves before running it, though.
