Was an awesome experience.
It is worth the price of a PS3.
That is all.

I heard its really good as well. For an idea it seens that in the beggining of the game you watch TV for a while, and there are several diferent channels all simulated for the duration of this waiting time.

I hear things like that are the reason game publishers are bleeding money like mad.

This expression confuses me, it means they are winning or losing money like mad? :)

losing. All these things cost money but don't increase sales.

Naah, the Epic fell of the metal gear series is because of the richness of extras and the awesome and detailed story, so it remains during the whole game.

for 600$ I could buy zeta gundam, gundam wing, 08th, 0080 and 0083 with some change left over.
*edits in case that was unclear*
I could get much better stories and movies.

Well you are counting the ps3 price here, its not like its the only MGS4 is the only game worth playing on ps3 :) The history is mostly about personal preferences I fear.
Here is one site with the story line of the whole series in cronologic order:

but that is the point that revenge was making. read the thread before you try and come off like you are deep and soulful, see below.

Mannored stop trying to sound deep or philosophical, it comes off as pretentious and bunk. You are not saying anything deep or meaningful, just post like a normal person. you are young with little life experience, so cut the rubbish you are not old and wise.

Now I've only ever played the original MGS, but Im pretty sure that in that one he came out of retirement in the beginning, and then in the end, after some painfully corny cut scene, he rides off into the sunset after deciding to change his life and stop killing people.
Obviously he had a change of heart. 3 times and counting.

Hey you are right, he said it is worth the price of a ps3, what isnt true. Sorry for my sucky memory :)
Im not "trying" to sound deep or philosophical, thats how I am, if you dont believe me thats your problem :) It is about preferencies tough.
Also, I have noticed you always write my nickname with 2 ns, however it has just one.
It isnt like he changed his mind 3 times or something, in the second game he is fighting but not for the government (Im not really sure what he is figting for, I played long ago and the plot is complicated like hell) and he is not even the main character. The third game is the very first in the story line, and we dont play as him but as the guy he was cloned from, the "Big Boss". Im not sure about the fourth game.

Wow hey! I guess some people do take internet SERIOUSLY!!
Obviously, it would be a little far fetched of me to suggest that ANY video game is worth paying $600 for just to own and play. That said, PS3 + MGS4 does not reach $350, and anyone intelligent enough to know how to play MGS4 would buy more of the other good games for the PS3. Not to mention, the PS3 is the best Blu-Ray player out on the market, and some of us who happen to have HDTVs might have a use for that "extra" feature.
Oh yeah, and please notify me if I need to put big </sarcasm> tags in my posts from now on to...wait nvm, that just too bothersome.
