Ingame dark texture problem (Fixed!)

Hey, Im trying to texture a model for spring, but Im having some trouble getting it to work ingame. The 2 textures built from upspring and view in upspring look just great, but when put ingame the texture itself looks way to dark. Here are some screenshots:

Heres a scaled down shot of the RGB tex...

Heres what it looks like in upspring...

And this is what it looks like ingame. :? The first shot is the "ghost" unit before I click to build it, which looks fine, and the second is the final product. Which dosn't.

Note that the self illuminating parts appear bright and clear, while the reflective parts (everything else) are darkened considerably. I think that may have something to do with it, but I truely don't know. Also noticed no atmospheric effects from the map are applied... hmm.

Another odd symptom is that theres no colored nanolathe texture in between. You know, the random color s3o models seem to get while building. It just goes straight from "ghost" to final with the buildtime in between.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. (Oh and yes, this is indeed cremuss's enegy storage model :p)

That map looks like it has shit lighting.

Have you tried it on other maps?

My guess is that the normals are too short, did you model it small and scale it in Upspring?

Ive tried it on different maps with the same effect. And yes KDR, when I originally got the model, it was so tiny I had to scale it 10x in upspring. Is thats what causing my problem? Can I fix it?

Object -> Recalculate Vertex Normals -> All or single, your choice.

Talked to KDR in the lobby, and it turns out I needed to click the Object tab and Recalculate Vertex Normals cause I scaled the model. Also, the reason it was invisible during building was because I didn't set the Model Height under the model tab to the right. So both those problems are done with. Big thanks to KDR, thought Ive already said it enough.

(and thanks anyways snipa, though I talked to KDR before I read your post  )

Looks like imagevenue doesn't like direct linking to pictures... kinda defeats the purpose of a image hosting site if you ask me. Links fixed, though I already fixed the problems you know.

Object -> Recalculate Vertex Normals -> All or single, your choice.
More like export it by a factor of eight (export scale) and set the s3o up again for proper normals
