springlobby crashes after update from ppa.launchpad.net

today i recieved an update for springlobby ,spring-engine an spring from the repo in the topic. but now springlobby crashes here on ubuntu 8.04

Yeah, you can point to BrainDamage who told me to upload that version. Sorry things are totally broken, but I'm not sure what to do until he points to a new tarball.

i've uninstalled spring completetly, cleared up my .deb cache. installed spring new from repo. nothing changes: still crashing...

Reinstallation of lobby didn't help.

Removing ca-r2231.sdz from mods helped.

It was probably duplicate to ca-stable-2231.sdz which is also there.

Maybe the lobby doesn't handle duplicates very well, maybe the devs of the lobby can look into it?

Yes, there was some issue with hash collisions, it's been dealt with to the best of our knowledge. Fix is in current source, but buntu package hasn't been updated in a while.
