That is pretty amazing. I believed most guys here around to be my age (~25). I mean these young lads didn't even know original TA in the good ol' days, it's amazing Spring found such a young players base. I honestly thought Spring was more of a thing for guys like me ("they don't make games like this anymore, oh yeah ...") who don't play modern games because it's so hard to adapt to new things when your our age. Well ... maybe I feel older than I really am, but new computer games don't allure me anymore.

What are you guys talking about? ~80% are 17 years+ and ~45% are 20 years+

This is a forum poll though, not a spring player age poll.

I'm making the assumption that the age of the playerbase and the forum user base is highly correlated.

I was 9 or 10 when I first played TA.
Isn't that über cool?

I played Dune 2, System Shock and Syndicate when I was about 9.

Dune2 at age of 10 was scary, I remember hearing the credit ticking up/down when closing my eyes after several days of playing

Luckily, this is false.

The player base will most likely, on average, be younger than the age of the forumers.

I got TA in 1997 and I'm 15 now. Turned 15 in December, though.
