look at both of these files and patch them to your spring, i was told these textures could cause sync errors but im not sure about it, however the graphics are more photo quality, and since i created these textures and asked to ask you SY people, could you replace it into your next spring update? please send a reply.

Post some preview pics of them here. I wanna see what they are like without downloading the files!

Either way, they are probably better than what we have. I say put them in.

i didn't test the trees, but i like the explosions, and they seem to be easier on the computer..i didn't get as much slowdown when things went boom.

The explosions are a little flat and dull. They look worse, but have the POTENTIAL to look WAAAAAY better. So just add more dust, explosions and perhaps MIX the original exposions with your new ones and susddenly you will have a GREAT effect!

They look nice, but you really ought to post images of them next to their original Spring counterparts, so that they can be compared properly.

For example, the explosions look nice (perhaps a bit more red/orange), but I can't really say they are better or worse based on the fact that I don't have an image in my mind of Spring's explosions to compare too.

here compare these

Noruas, nice work. Is there any way to have lots of different colors in the explosions?

When you burn most organic material, it is orange or red, sometimes blue. However, lots of metals burn different colors. We should see some violet and green and blue: the whole spectrum of colors depending on what you are blowing up.

Trees are good. More trees for more variety?

Also, not sure if the ones we are using now were in OTA, but any time we remake something that was in OTA so we use our own content rather than theirs, we get one step closer to being free from lawsuits shutting us down. (Note that I am still not a lawyer).

hey

Zoombie i do not have the right program to make mix dust into explosions or brighten it up without making it look funny, or add extra explosions, so i tried to add more dust as in grey dots to the explosion and it made it more defeninate flat, maybe you can edit it and show us your finishing touch.

The only problem is that i can SEE the explosion in my head, but im a realative neophyte (Read: NooB) when it comes to actualy MAKEING the damn things. But if some one could tell me how id be glad to take a crack at it
