Well metal maps break balance and speedmetal boosts speed which also breaks balance.

IIRC we found a way to penalize people for playing on speedmetal. Fang may have employed it here.

Health decreasing on Speedmetal has to do with acidic water IIRC.

Which means that EE isn't compatible with _any_ mod that includes acidic water... which is no small problem.

Any idea where all these "acid water" bugs come from, and why they're still kicking around?

It has to do with the fact that it becomes a Building when it deploys and said building is a shipyard, since I dont know how to disable it being able to deploy over water.

floating buildings, Always count as being in the water regardless of whether they are on land or not.. and hence on maps with acidic water will take damage over time even when built on land.. another mod that suffers from this is FF..

Im not fixing it, its not a bug with EE its a spring issue, and secondly EE does not play correctly on Speedmetal, or other metal maps.. and dont report any more bugs about EE on a metal map cause I dont care and will not fix it, or rebalance it to fix it..

K thnx bye..

Speed metal is a broken map, provided as is. There are plenty of alternatives that arent broken and have 5x as much metal.

The 5x metal is something else that alternatives thankfully don't have. If you really need one, I can give you a map with over 9000 metal.

I think it's because some conditions make the engine think a unit is a ship and a ship is always in water or something like that.
