Spring not starting up

So today I wanted to start Spring and it refused to initiilaze unitsync.dll

So the only stuff I installed since I played spring yesterday was a map and Complete Annihilation.

I removed both those and it still refused to start.

I reinstalled the newest Spring release over my current one, still refused to start.

I had that bug once, too. The only thing I did to fix this was copying my friends Spring folder (which was EXACTLY the same as mine that time) and it magically worked again. Too bad I'm not at lan right now, so that's no option.

(it's also no option deleting and downloading everything again, seeing as I don't want to waste my time getting 400+ maps again (and yes it worked with this ammount of maps before).

Make temporary directory for maps.
Move all maps there.

1) Start Spring Test (spring.exe).
2) Copy 20 maps to the maps folder.
3) Repeat from (1) until all maps are moved.

Or just be patient and wait some time for it to scan all mods and maps.

So does it actually do something? while being stuck at "initializing unitsync.dll"?

However, why repeat until I moved all maps? If a map iss bugged, and I move it, too, I'll have this error again right?

Or am I misunderstanding the reason of the error?

It takes a while for unitsync to scan all your files for the first time. Let it sit for a while and do something else, it only has to do this once (unless something gets corrupted, in which case it will do it over again).

Hmm, well I'll let it run for some time then. Actually spring started extremely fast till today. So yeah (and I didn't start it the first time today (atleast not the first time "overall")

edit: Oh it started, haha well, yay you can close this now
