Radar and Line of Sight Issues

Radar's do not work while being transported, any chance this can be added?

Dont they? Im pretty sure you could load a jammer (which should work the same) in a dragon fly and have a flying radar jammer.

I know that regular radars only work unloaded, BloX proves it.

Ya, some of the mods have started adding jammers to their
stealthy transports to fix the problem. This is more expensive
than making the transport contains stealthed as well. I'll fix it.

I mean for example, I have NO jammers, and 1 radar. On the ground, the radar, which detects units, shows it's range, and shows units within it on my enemies side. But if I load it onto a chassis, the radar shows the range of it, but does not show enemies in range.

the line of sight is also removed when the unit is transported.

And the LOS of units is generally not very good. Units that are slightly above your own, even if theres only a slight bump in between often don't show up in LOS and you literally need to almost collide with them before your units will spot the opponents.

This is primarily obvious in kbot vs kbot battles on hilly maps like small divide, cooper hill etc. Its as if the LOS of a unit is strictly on one plane (horizontal) and they don't have any vertical sight in the upwards direction, but for some reason units tend to behave better when looking down on others.

half-sphere upwards, cylinder downwards? I'm sure I've read about that being the case for LOS somewhere. Or maybe weapon ranges. It was something like that, can't remember.

The Weapons work as planned, it's just the radar, any word on a fix? This seems like a simple engine bug, somewhere it is disabling radar and line of sight, and it would greatly improve my mod, and a few others if it was fixed, but then you run into one "unbalanced" part, where BA sea transports can see far and have radar coverage.

Maybe another fbi tag?
