[ LLTA Reloaded ]

Don´t hate me, but the mod is not Dead

I still work on it and will need some playtesters in the next Weeks/month.
So i just add here some pics and later the version when its done.
I still need Modlers,Scripters,GFX(texture,effects) and maybe some Luaboys
Not for heavy work or so, just edditing or some new things.
Because much people haven´t time to make a full modelpack or so.
Oke what to say hmm i based it to the newsted CA version (Thx/Great mod!)
But will add most LLTA stuff and new stuff to it.
Much effects will be changed and yes i will add again some crazy stuff but now ballanced!
Tech 1 to 5 for the next release.
Monkeylord and Pretoritan are 6 but added (tech 6 just not finished)

Awesome that this mod is still in development, I love that mod. I hope it's not getting a hardcore balancing mod (BAH to balance), I'll see soon enough I guess.

Atm i use for meteor explosion a nice explo from NOTA 1.32
But i will make my own or will edit it, hmmm but it is the best explosion i ever

I must say, I don't like this.
It just doesn't seem to have moved from the huge megabattles end-game BA shots, and insane number of tech level craze. It looks nice and all, but not really something I like to play.

Actually I would play that all the time. I'm sick of all the games with 1-2 tech leves. That's why I loved Earth 2150. It had a nice tech tree (and even custom units). More units make the game more complicated and challenging. Ofcourse tech level 1 should still stand a chance against 2 but 1 against 3 should be harder. I don't want some insane balancing mods, that's just plain booring. If players are to lazy to tech and are rushing all the time, their bad. You should have to think in a game. With less units and possibilitys this is way easier than with a massive amount of stuff.
Ofcourse the war might get a crazy end game battle in the end, but that's what I like about TA Spring, the ability to fight "Epic" End Game Battles.

I work now on the unit list.
So changes in this mod are:
- Research Center (To research each techlevel)
- Special Superweapons (Just for ending a defend/camping game, you will hear/see it when a superweapon is in work)
- New Units/Buildings
- New Effects
- Morphing System
- Cloacking Generators
- Shield Generators
- 5 Tech level
- Upgrades for Commander
- Based on CA
So more to come, if you want something other ask me !

True - final balancing is only possible through actual gaming. So as long as you have a design document and don't just throw units in because they are cool looking this should come with time...
