No, it's just Upspring. It does that

PS. Don't pre-pose models in upspring. It breaks stuff.

When he said "do it in script", he meant pre-posing (ie pre-posing an infantryman's model so that he holds his gun)

The s3o export script only works with MAX v8 and earlier AFAIK.

easiest way is just export as *.3ds and import into upspring, and set the object origins. i do the same thing from Wings, takes me anout 10 minutes to do the whole thing.

I never correct anything in upspring, reimporting and setting origins up doesn't take so long.

I kinda understood that you wanted to pose the model, hence I suggested doing it by script, because your model shouldn't be posed at all.

oh ok,
so u say i made it bad :? ?
1.
-make my model, unit all elements in max9
2.
-export to 3ds
3.
-import in upsring.
4.
-"pre-pose" the pivots( set the object origins) and save to s3o
5.
-testing in spring (what are see a real...)
6.
-i write the scripts anim, weapons(ammo  ) and other
7.
-make the uw in max
8.
- 2. ; 3. ; 4. again
9.
-make the texutue with psp
10.
-make the new sounds
11.
-name, test , balance , show here

What do you mean by pre-pose? Setting the origins is a necessary step, but rotating pieces to pose the unit for a default stance for example is what you should avoid doing in upspring and do by script instead.

Maybe I misunderstood what you were on about... :?

the "pre-posing" world that used Guessmyname ,
and what i wanted say
if i importing in upspring a 3ds file i lose the pivot orgional position (where i wanted in max9) . and i need move to the right place.
so why? more shorten ,nice and clean srcipts. bu im new here.. and i have many question...

rotating moving posing in upsring ,why? move the right place the object is posing?

but u are not answered my question.
(if u want certainly)

No, that's positioning.

About the s3o-exporter, I think it was for max7 or some lower version.
