Hi,
I get always rushed by invaders. I try mines, LLTs and Aks, but nothings seems to work fine. Is there any unit that can deal properly with them?

Are you playing hard defense?
A best defense is a good offense.
I used to be unable to stop the rushes that come often. Now I know that 1 LLT is all you need as long as you expand hard. Expand or die.

So,
the point is to keep expanding, a few LLT on front to stop them, and not too much worry about them?? Is that right? I'll try next game. Thank you

Don't go overboard with LLT's, they are defensive units therefore immobile.
Mobile units can respond actively to attacks, they can move in to intercept, and they are cheap as well. Use them.

Get a radar up as soon as possible, and have as many units as your enemy does. Since it takes his units quite some time to cross the map, if you have a reasonable build order you will always have more units at your base than your enemy. Use them to destroy the attackers,
If you need more help, spec some games and see how other players deal with the problem.

C mode with your com also helps in emergency situations.

Do you mean invaders as in attackers or crawling bombs(?)
HLT's with dragon eyes in front of them can stop crawling bombs pretty well or just unit spam

If you are talking about XTA, then missile towers, samsons/slashers, and jethros/crashers stop crawling bombs pretty easily. Just make sure you have them moving away from the crawler as they are firing to avoid getting caught in the blast.

what type of invaders? I presume you are talking about raiders but if you arent tell me.
Have radar so you can track enemys movements, If there is a single direction enemys can come from make fixed defense since they are more powerfull, but if there are multiple directions make mobile defense since fixed defense would be too spreaded to be usefull. Raiders most time use swarms of light units, so anti-spam units like riot tanks will probaly work fine. If you arent going to use a passage make sure to close it so the enemy cant use it to attack you. Mines are nice to delay but arent going to stop enemys alone.
Also, dont forget that the enemy may make air units, all-terrain units, stealth units or radar-invisible units.
And dont think more power is necessary = to better.

Use LLT only to support mobile defenders. Mobile units are cheaper, build faster, and have more HP per metal spent... They have the downside that they don't have as much attack power outright, but if you put them infront of an LLT or two you get the best of both worlds. You just really need to take advantage of the fact that mobile units build so much faster than static defenses in game.

It is worth pointing out that all replies other than mine are suggestions for BA/AA (Or at least they seem to be) LLT are significantly more expensive and less spamabble in XTA, and definitely not appropriate for stopping crawling bombs.

60% of the replies seem to be talking about invasions and not the crawling bombs as well.

Also, make sure to surround your static defenses with dt. Many units have their shots blocked by dt (Especially the raiding ones who are the ones you are worried about), and even those who dont will sometimes hit it instead of the defense.

if ur playing XTA make sure to surround everything with DT, you might think sealing off your factory's exit is a bad idea but in fact it will make your enemy underestimate you.

He is right, I was asking about the unit called "invader", those little nasty guys that seem to survive anything but torpedo launchers ... a pity not all maps have water
