Experience Escape

It would be cool if Units that have gained some Experience (around 2.0 or more) could catapult it in some Ejection Seat out once they are destroyed. Somewhere around on the Ground a little BlackBox could drop and stay for a Minute- till it is collected by another Unit or destroyed..

What do you think ?

For another unit to pick up and have their experience replaced with that in the black-box?

Sounds a good idea, but I think the unit would have to be directly ordered to pick it up

C&C Generals US pilots, eh?

Should be luable.

It's probably even doable to have pilots/crews like in Metal Fatigue.

Would be very micro intensive, and it's prone to have whatever tiny insignifiant side effect that'll make all mods say "do not want".

And, uh, coding that in first time so that it works nice and clean sound nighmarish. Like, what if pilot eject over water? Over steep mountain he can't walk on?

Something I like better (by virtue of simplicity and the fact that it's already possible) is something I do in AA... or at least, I know for sure I was planning to... :?

Anyways. Figure what a unit will typically be hit by. This applies only to aircraft or subs really, since there's such a diverse range of weapons that might hit other units. But anyways. You make it so that once they have a little experience they can *just* survive an extra hit by whatever typical weapon. For instance, figure, torpedoes might do 100 damage per hit. Make subs have 290 HP or something. After they've seen a little combat, they're now about 30% (... 25%? 20? Math hates me) stronger, effectively.
