If you mean becoming actually productive, making something worth looking at thanks!
If you mean he is trying to do something worth playing in his project? hey thanks!
If you mean working hard to get his ui in better shape? hey thanks!

The thing that kills me is...
To ask a question like that, you would have to be completely and utterly oblivious to what has been going on in the forums for the past month.
It's the equivalent of "lolhay guise, whats up in this thread?". Even the thread itself... Reading the first page of posts would and answered such a silly question, and then there is common sense. The pathfinder is undergoing some growing pains but it's not like these things code themselves, so if all of a sudden there are issues with the pathfinder, and every other day hoijui is pimping another test release and godde is posting threads with screenshots and videos...
For the love of christ, come on. You would have to be completely and totally oblivious, and then to come in and ask a question like that is a ./slap worthy offense... "Well, DUH!"
Oi...

It's funny I ask two benign questions and get two pages worth of flames back. Believe it or not not everyone 1) reads forums regularly(yes some of us have better things to do) and 2) is out to take a piss at development.
Anyway just keep toting the attitude it's good for laughs.

Time it takes to read a thread and ask a simple question: 5 minutes.
Time it takes to study and understand a pathfinder as well as understanding all recent changes made: Days, weeks, months.
It may come as a surprise to you but not everyone lurks the forums all day and is highly knowledgeable with programming and pathfinders, and most people just want to play the game. The guy asked a simple question and you responded by basically telling him he was a lazy asshole. Get over yourself.

Realisation that you dont need to understand pathfinding or code, and you can just skimread the commit logs for anything such as 'movement' 'slops/hills' 'turn rate' to know something is being done:
2 seconds

The question was never about if something was being done or not. Where did you get that from?
Most people who actually play online competitively hate the current pathfinder with good reason. And yet everyone like that has been perfectly civil in this thread. Meanwhile you, forb and smoth have done nothing but flame on since page 1. What do you care, you don't play online? smoth doesn't play the most commonly played mod for sure and neither does forb anymore.
Heck there are a lot of us with coding skills out here that don't want to get involved with development, we just want to play the game because we are busy coding other stuff. Since when is being a developer and reading commit logs a criteria for replying to a thread in general discussion?

I specifically remember posting a mutator for BA that significantly improves the pathing of it's units.
And yes, I do play online.

I dont play under my usual machine and alias, to do so would do me no favours.
Also if you look, the question WAS is anything going to be done, asked over and over again, coupled with repeated answers over and over again that stuff has already been done. It's unfair to complain about lack of action on the part of the developers, when theyre have already made changes and continue to do so.
It is also unfair to complain endlessly about a vague nebulous problem without actually saying what is the problem specifically, and how to reproduce it reliably in the general case. Godde did that and the problems he pointed out got fixed. Why doesn't anybody else?
So please quit babbling on about how theres no bright and shiny AF moniker in your playerlist. Afterall I didnt see you at the weekly developer meeting? Or in your AI release thread? Or pimping your content you spent hours on? Do you see us dismissing you and ignoring your posts because you didn't pass a C++ Certification test?
This thread has served its use. Lock.

For future reference, grab the latest builds from this link:
http://springrts.com/dl/buildbot/default/master/
Maps that I have found big pathing issues in old version, so you may try testing on them are:
Ganymede_v1 (units drive into tiny craters they cant get out of)
LLTAComplex_v2 (units get stuck in rocks on the top pass)
Happy testing, and if you find something worth noting, please post in one of the pathing feedback threads, or file a bug report.
