North American Stream Stats:
* Unique Viewers: 300,000
* Views: 1,000,000
* Peak Concurrency: 69,000

That was from a stream that wasn't in LoL client

Currently it counts only after you actually start watching the stream, it does not start itself. The ~150000 concurrent viewers seems realistic considering it's the most important LoL event this year.

dunno why the developers make a big point about the prize pool its been a year long qualifying tourney pretty much for one big prize pool.

You count dota/hon tournies for a 3 month period and total it up and they have bigger prize pools than the LoL tourney.

Anyway watching the stream has been a bore fest apart from westrice's akali none of the players look particularly skilled (not saying I am better but these guys would find it hard to break the top 100 in other MOBA's) and the lack of clutch moves/plays is kinda boring I expected alot more for a tourney thats been promoted and hyped up for months.

Glad the other streams have started now.

I will give riot + points for presentation its well presented though the casters could be more insightful and stop trying to spoon feed people basic info and instead give more competitive insight.

Elitism ?? Riot are harping on about LoL being a good Esport when they have only just now added a proper spectator mode and all the top tier teams/players would struggle to play in an amateur league in Dota.

You can see were I said I could not do better.

But after watching competitive MOBA (I hate the term) for 5-6 years and seeing some epic games... This tournament has been a let down. I really wish I could say I enjoyed the high level of skill but the amount of cock ups and the bland playstyle has been upsetting. Sure its an ok tourney with very good presentation but hasn't lived up the the hype yet.

So my client just patched up...Anyone has a link to a changelog?cant find shit in forums about this patch.

Ok that commentator is annoying as fuck...He uses his hands so much when he talks...

It would also help if the commentators actually knew about the competitive scenes of each continent... and if they stopped treating specs like if they have never played LoL b4.
